How We Develop Glass?
Making glass is not an easy process, as it requires accuracy in every work. And to have this accuracy level, we have hired skilled workers and maintained well managed facilities. At our premise, to develop glass, we prepare a mixture of sand, limestone (calcium carbonate), soda ash (sodium carbonate) and waste glass. This mixture is then heated in furnaces at high temperature of 1700 °C (3090 °F). Once the mixture kept in the furnace melts, it is poured on flat sheet. Rollers are then used to flatten it so as to form sheets, which are first cooled and then cut into different sizes as per the requirements. At our premises, we not just develop plain glass sheets but also designer and printed ones. And for that, some other ingredients such as zinc oxide, lead oxide, alumina, etc. are also added to the mixture.
